Welcome to TNSAA 2022-2023

About the workshop

From the invention of DMRG by Steven R. White in 1992, DMRG and its generalizations in the form of Tensor Networks have played important roles in many aspects of physics, including condensed matter physics, statistical physics, quantum chemistry, nuclear physics, and machine learning. This series of workshops, Tensor Network States: Algorithms and Applications (TNSAA), is organized to showcase the recent development of both advances in algorithms and their applications in the discovery of new physics. This year, TNSAA 2023 will be held in Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, China from August 21st to 24th, 2023. We will continue the tradition by inviting experts in the field of Tensor Networks to share the latest developments and their perspectives on future directions. At the same time, we will also invite a few experts in other fields like Quantum Monte Carlo and Machine Learning with the hope that new ideas can emerge with communications between different fields.
